HUB Kids is run by Glamorgan Church who has made its home in the community of Glamorgan for over 50 years. We we love kids. HUB Kids ran May to June last year and was a huge success. Perhaps you have heard about our fabulous summer day camp (VBS). We are bringing the same level of excellence, excitement, and fun to our afterschool program. We want HUB Kids to be a safe, inclusive, fun place for kids to gather Tuesdays after school.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are You Teaching About Your Faith?
No, this program is different from our Summer Bible Camps. The focus of this program is to offer a safe place where all children belong and are valued. For our church, we follow Jesus’ command to Love our Neighbour.
How Much Does This Cost?
There is no charge to attend, however registration is required.
I'm working and can't drop my child off?
Ideally parents will drop children off and pick up. For children where parents are working, alternate arrangements can be made on an as needed basis.
Children who attend Glenbrook School can be met at the bus stop and walked over to the church by one of our volunteers. For safety reasons we do require that an approved adult pick up the children at dismissal time.
Pick up time is 6:00 pm. Parents who repeatedly do not pick up their children by 6:00 pm will be charged a late fee.
What is the meal at 5:30 pm?
The children will be given a snack upon arrival at the program. The program runs into the traditional meal time, so let taking care of Thursday’s supper. Meals will be served at the church at 5:30 pm and the family is welcome to join us for the meal.
If you would like to join us for a meal, please sign up at the front desk the week before. You are also welcome to take a meal “to go” home with you. Order the meal the week prior so that we can prepare enough.
Meals are kid friendly and will be prepared with dietary or religious considerations.
Can You Help With Homework?
Once HUB Kids is running we may look at offering homework support on another night of the week. If you or your child would like homework support now, let us know and we will see what we can arrange.
What Families Say About Us
VBS is an incredible program. I brought my daughter and we were both blown away. The effort and work that is put in to the programing is amazing. They are inclusive and I never had to worry about my daughter, she was having so much fun. The staff and volunteers really love the kids and it shows. The best part is, you can just be yourself and they will love and accept you. – Katie M.
I sent my son to the Glamorgan Church’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) for four years from 2016 to 2019 (and a virtual component in 2020 due to the pandemic). Those VBS experiences were highlights of those summers, particularly the 2019 “Uniquely Zoo” VBS, which must have taken Pastor Rachel months to prepare. Our house is filled with souvenirs from those VBS experiences to accompany our memories. We do not attend the Glamorgan Church, but I never once felt Pastor Rachel was using the VBS to recruit people into attending her church nor did I ever feel the least bit of pressure to attend her church. Pastor Rachel and her team are truly first-class. – William H.
Glamorgan Church of God has been such a blessing for my kids. They absolutely love the VBS program and still talk about it years later. They have always loved going to Cornerstone on Sunday mornings and love all the teachers. They keep the kids engaged and always have fun activities. We have gone to Glamorgan Church of God for years! I attended Sunday school when I was a child as well! – Carla S.
